Farming Gold in Stratholme

Stratholme is a great place to farm gold.  But in order to be really successful at it you're going to need a decent group.  What kind of group are we talking about?

• Warrior - you have to have a good warrior who knows how to tank well, because you're going to be fighting multiple mobs at the same time.  You'll also have bosses you need to kill.
• AoE - you need area damage.  Again, you're going to be killing groups of mobs.  Bring a mage.
• Healing - obvious.  Same reasoning as everything about.  Best is to have a healer and a back up healer.  The backup can be hybrid - you don't need two druids or anything like that.
• Damage - damage, damage, damage.  You want to kill stuff fast
• Enchanter - this is absolutely critical.  Someone has to be an enchanter or you're wasting your time.

Ok, so how do you turn this into fast and easy gold?  Well, you can just run the zone and make money, of course.  But what's special about Stratholme is that it's designed to be run in 45 minutes by a decent group.  It's entirely possible to do it even faster than that.  35 minutes isn't unheard of.Yes, if you're doing this you're going to be running past all kinds of mobs that you could be killing and looting.  Heck, if you're really rushing you may not even have time to loot all the mobs you are killing.  This isn't usually an issue as long as you trust your group mates.  Turn on free looting so you can loot any corpse and it'll be easier for whoever is not doing something to pick it up as you rush past.The key is that in 40 minutes you are going to kill basically ALL of the bosses in the zone.  They're going to drop loot that is better on average than loot dropped by anything else in the zone.  So you basically blast through the zone wiping out bosses and grabbing their loots.  DE anything that's BoP that isn't needed by the group, and put the rest on the AH.  You'll make a killing.Keep on farming that gold...
